Entrepreneur Day Volunteers Needed
BURKE COUNTY MIDDLE SCHOOL
Entrepreneur Day – December 15, 2026
Dear Entrepreneur,
Burke County Middle School is excited to host Entrepreneur Day on December 15, 2026, and we are looking for local entrepreneurs and business owners who are willing to share their experiences and knowledge with our students.
We invite you to serve as a guest presenter and introduce students to the world of entrepreneurship. Presenters will rotate through classrooms on three different halls, giving a brief 10–15-minute presentation in each class. This will allow students to learn about different businesses, career opportunities, and the steps involved in starting and managing a business.
The event will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. The schedule is as follows:
• 7:30–7:55 a.m.: Introductions, light refreshments, and room assignments • 8:00–8:45 a.m.: First presentations
• 9:00–9:45 a.m.: Second hall presentations
• 10:00–10:45 a.m.: Third hall presentations
• 10:45–11:15 a.m.: Briefing and closing activities
We encourage you to share your personal journey, including how you got started, challenges you have faced, skills needed to succeed, and advice you would give young people who may want to become entrepreneurs one day. We want our students to see how their interests, talents, creativity, and hard work can lead to future opportunities.
Your participation would help us provide students with meaningful, real-world learning experiences and inspire them to think about their future goals.
