The BCMS Media Center is open each school day from 7:15 a.m. - 3:15 p.m.

Mission

Our mission is to ignite a passion for reading within each student, nurturing their development as critical thinkers, proficient researchers, and ethical users of information. We aim to provide a diverse range of print and digital resources that enrich and support our school's curriculum. In addition to fostering academic growth, we are committed to creating a welcoming environment that encourages a lifelong love for reading and exploration.

Our vision is to cultivate an environment where all students have fair and equal access to a diverse array of resources, services, and instructional support. We aim to equip students with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and proficiencies necessary to navigate and utilize information, fostering a lifelong love for learning.

Our public library has some wonderful free resources to offer our students and the community. The Greater Clark Hill Regional Library System has three locations in Burke County;  Midville, Sardis, and the main branch in Waynesboro. The GCHRL offers  online library cards to citizens of  Georgia, they offer a virtual story time with crafts, they have extended  the WiFi service to include the parking lot, students can receive homework help and they offer resources to students with disabilities all for free. Please utilize these free resources by visiting the GCHRL website.
