Do you notice that your child is struggling in a particular area (Science, Social Studies, Math, ELA)? Here is an online resource that you might find useful. Click on the link provided. The link will take you to the middle school resources. Look under the box that says "courses." If your child is having trouble with Science, then click on the tab that says "MS Science 7th Grade (Updated '17)." Then you have an option to click on the different topics that we will study this year.
Ex: Currently we are talking about "Heredity." To view the resources click the word "view" beside heredity. From here there will be a review page that comes up telling you what will be covered in that section. Click next at the top of the screen when you are ready to move on. The website is full of interactives that the students can use to better understand the topics.
This is a really good resource. Please feel free to use this resource as much as you would like. The best part is....IT'S FREE!!!

Students should have this login information in their planners. Go to GA Programs --> 7th Grade --> Science and choose a topic to review. If you have not been on there this year you will need to take the pretest first. This is a great resource and the curriculum is aligned to our new GSE standards.
