Hello,
My name is LeTonya Coleman. This is my fifteenth year as a teacher and my tenth year at Burke County Middle School. I am excited about the upcoming school year. I am a sixth-grade mathematics inclusion and mathematics resource teacher. I look forward to getting to know your child and offering him/her the best academic experience while mastering sixth-grade mathematical standards.
My goal is to prepare your child for sixth-grade math and beyond while offering an educationally challenging, yet fun experience with mathematics. This year your child will move from concrete math concepts to abstract math concepts while learning about number systems, ratios and proportional relationships, expressions, and geometry.
I have high academic expectations for my students. Please help me in ensuring this is the best and most successful year for your child.
